Egypt was a very powerful country in the past and full of knowledge in science, mathematics, arts and more. It was also mentioned so many times in the Bible. Joseph who was thrown in the pit by his brothers and took as a slave to Egypt eventually became second only to Pharaoh (Genesis 41:39-41). He was then able to help his family during bad times. Later though with change of rulers Israelites became slaves of the Egyptians for more then 400 years. Baby Moses was put in a basket in the Nile river to be picked up and raised in the Pharoah’s house. In Exodus God heard the cry of the Israelites and raised up Moses to lead them to freedom. Later Solomon married the Pharoah’s daughter, 1 Kings 3:1, but this ended up splitting the kingdom in 2 because as great as Solomon was, he waivered on his service to God and built idols for his Egyptian wives. Jesus was brought to Egypt as a baby to keep Him safe, Matt 2:13. Isaiah 19 is a chapter all about Egypt. So even though there is a lot of biblical history in Egypt, this trip was more concentrating on the Egyptian history and strengths.
Day 1, 9/6, Arrival into Cairo and stay at Mena House
Arrived in Cairo after a long flight with a 14 hour layover in Daho, Qatar. That airport is amazing as had access to lounge which included food, drinks, and a shower !! This airport is big with lots of stores and amazing landscaped area to walk thru and relax. However the money exchanger is not one I will ever use again. When I went to Pakistan they could not do the exchange but for Egypt he did. I exchanged without first looking up it online or even praying if this was what I should do here. When I got to Egypt I realized he only gave me 2/3s of what I could get anywhere in Egypt. So I was reminded to slow down and prayerfully consider future steps as when you are in a rush you don’t always do the smartest moves. I didn’t even need to be in a rush as it was when I first got there and again had a 14 hour layover !! So tip for travelers, everywhere I went this year, Israel, Pakistan and Egypt, so far they really would prefer the American Dollar !! Let’s hope that stays in the future. But the driver picked me up and took me to the hotel, The Marriott Mena House, in Cairo and it was beautiful. You look right out to the largest pyramid and lush landscaping and fountains. The girl I had set close to me on the plane was from Cairo and told me the Mena House was where she has dreamed of having her wedding since she was a small girt. Later that evening we had our first tour meeting and it was held in this most beautiful room that shined of luxury and elegance. I understood why she wanted her wedding there. Let me start with telling you why I went to Egypt. When I came back from Pakistan I was thinking no more out of country trips until next year and was thinking to go to India. But the whole plane trip back I kept hearing in my head, Egypt, Egypt, Egypt, and then a day later an email came into my outbox and the Hurtacks, from Academy of Future Science and Keys of Enoch, were going on this trip. I immediately knew I was suppose to go and Egypt was calling. I had always thought if I ever went to Egypt that is who I would want to go with and there it was in front of me after hearing Egypt in my head for days. They have a very scientific religious mix to the teachings. With their backgrounds they know more not just on the archeological relevance but also a lot to the spiritual side also. I could tell you more about how he has helped Nasa and his background on things he could only know if shown by higher powers and Desiree is fully knowledgeable and an expert as well. Each trip I chose to go on a tour with others is because I knew they would be the best for that location. Please know that I don’t need to be surrounded by people who all think like me as I learn from all sources and let the Spirit discern for me what to keep. I also only go on trips I know I am supposed to be on. So after the meeting a wonderful dinner looking out onto the great pyramid.
Day 2, 9/7, Mena House – Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum
Very fascinating on how all of these were built and basically what our tour was telling us is that civilization was much more advanced in past then got wiped out and then came again but lost intelligence and knowledge over the many years and civilizations. Egypt used to be the schoolhouse of the world. So they have all of this energy that the pyramids created in the past and maybe why they don’t allow complete research on them as higher ups don’t want the producing of free energy for all, like a giant earth battery, and would cost big industry their income. The Hurtak’s who were leaders on this trip and why I chose to go to Egypt now, have wrote a book Giza’s Industrial Complex. Here 5000 years ago it was like a huge saltwater battery. Again very scientific in a lot of the discussion so I suggest you buy the book if you want to know more. I AM SO GLAD I DO NOT HAVE TO EARN OR LEARN MY SALVATION but is a gift I just need to accept with Jesus as my Savior. They could learn so much that they could do including levitating objects and healing and all kinds of what we would consider miracles probably today. They learned their way to do these things and get power. With the Holy Spirit in Jesus name we can move mountains if we have the faith to do so. Matthew 17:20 (NASB) 20 And He *said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith [a]the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. I have not seen any mountains move though I have seen many healings and what I consider miracles. If all of the Jesus followers, filled with the Holy Spirit, would rise up and pray I do believe a lot of hospitals would shut down. If everyone would pray for the world crisis then God would hear and get rid of hunger, etc. We are so blessed but many times do not count our blessings but just tread on in daily life without even a thought to our real identities as a child of God, if you are in that category !!! Anyways there are spiritual laws just as there are physical laws that can be used by anybody if they have the knowledge to do so. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am that we can also just freely receive spiritual gifts.
We were then able to get private time around the Sphinx with just our group in the enclosure. We were able to take time and meditate and feel the energy. It was nice to be able to slow down and take that time to really take it all in. They are thinking that there originally was 2 Sphinx. Many archeologist date it back to 2558BC but many geologists date it being at least 10000 years old if not even much older like 300000 years. Now days we are always talking about climate change but this area has seen a mini ice age and a warming of the Earth and so they believe the Nile River flow was much closer at the time this was built. They also believe that the originally carved head was that of the Lioness Mehit, protector. Seismograph findings show a hollow chamber under the left pay where Edgar Cayce says could lay the Atlantean Hall of Records. They fed us french fry sandwiches on the bus. We then went on to the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East. There was just so much to see and take in. I came away with the thought that giants really did exist in the past. Even though most was dated 5000 years or newer, they really think that much was even much older. The people believed in so many different gods and astrology. I do believe that you can learn from all of this as my God and creator designed this world in such a way that it is organized and can be proved up by math and the stars. We should use this to further our faith in God and worship Him only, not what He has created. Just a reminder that God is Spirit so I only use He as a lack of what else to use. John 4:24 (NASB) 24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Last from 10pm – midnight we had private time in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid. It is a long climb up these built in ladder like wood strips and you have to be bent over to go as it is not tall enough to stand up and climb. I really need to hit the gym more. We were not allowed to bring our phones or take pictures during this private time and mediation. Supposably Jesus and John the Baptist need initiations in this chamber. There was a bathtub looking thing that you could lay in quickly and it was very powerful when you did. I wasn’t sure about participating in this part but didn’t hear the Holy Spirit telling me not too, so I did. I can tell you my whole body started shaking and I started crying then I heard just relax and then time to get out. I still don’t fully understand what happened but do truly believe there is a force associated with these places. Please know that the Bible even tells multiple stories of objects being touched and power being displayed and my favorite one is when a dead man was thrown on Elisha’s bones and came back to life. 2 Kings 13:21 (NASB) And as they were burying a man, behold, they saw a marauding band; and they threw the man into the grave of Elisha. And when the man touched the bones of Elisha he revived and stood up on his feet. SO this was a very full day and had to get back to the room and then check my emails and do what was needed for work then sleep a few hours.
Day 3, 9/8, Mena House- The step pyramid of Sakkara, Serapeum in Saqqara, Dahshur area of the Bent Pyramid, Red Pyramid, evening lecture
The pyramids do not all have the same inclinations which maybe means they had different purposes and qualities. The Step Pyramid of Djoser is thought to have some of the world’s earliest tomb like structures built on top of each other. There was also the Imhotep Museum to learn about this architect’s legacy. In the Serapeum in Saqqara the subterranean labyrinth has massive granite boxes and possibly the burial grounds for sacred bulls. The Bent Pyramid has a 54-degree inclination about one third of the way up, then a 43-degree angle giving it the “bent” appearance. This one contains most of its original outer casing of polished limestone. The Red Pyramid we did not have time to go in but just saw on the outside. It was built entirely at the 43-degree angles. There was a lot to see today but I didn’t feel much energy or anything in these sites we were at today. I did step away and take a few moments to ask Holy Spirit if I’m missing something and was happy that I did. Some of the strongest and most powerful energy and filling of the Spirit I have had is in my own private living room with no one else around. So, you don’t need to travel anywhere to have the Holy Spirit indwell you and have an enlightened experience but it sure is fun!!
Day 4, 9/9-, Fly to Luxor. Temple of Karnak, check into Jolie Ville Resort
We arrived at the airport and when it was time for the 2nd security to enter into the gate for the plane the men were told to go first. We found out this was because since they only had one security screener the men have to be patted down by a man so that is why they all went first, then the women so then they used a female to pat us down. Still not sure why they couldn’t both work at the same time but we all got a good laugh and cheered on the men getting to go first!! We went straight off the plane to a bus to go to the Temple of Karnak. It is the largest temple complex in the world with much of it being excavated and restored. Built over 4000 years ago and aligned with the winter solstice. This allowed light to focus on a shrine dedicated to a sun god and our guide was telling us he saw this on 12/21 one year. But this occurs when either of Earth's poles reaches its maximum tilt away from the sun. This happens one day in December and is the shortest day of the year and longest night and some people celebrate the winter solstice. I think this is why Christmas, which is supposed to be the celebrating of Jesus birth, is done on 12/25. It was a way to help change people over from celebrating a sun god to the Son of God. This way everyone could still have their holiday but have a different reason for the celebration. Jesus was really born in August according to the Urantia book which has a lot of the history of Jesus life not covered in the Bible. You can find this book at www.Urantia.org. Over many different rulers it has been torn down and rebuilt in different parts. It does still have the largest or maybe it was the 2nd largest antique obelisk in the world. So many statues and hieroglyphics records including about the fall of Atlantis and the transfer of knowledge to Egypt. My very favorite part though was walking thru and was told that the wind will make a different sound for harmonic enjoyment as well as different sounds for healing. Dr. Hurtack shared that all of the Psalms except 8 make a musical song. He gave a speech about it but hard to remember exactly all he said but I came away with the importance of musical tones and how they can be used. So amazing that these huge structures could be built for making beautiful planned noise frequencies. I do plan on trying to study more about the different sounds and how they affect us. It was so hot and such a large place of walking around my phone overheated and went into emergency mode and would not even let me take pictures. We then proceeded back to the bus and onto our hotel to check in. It was really nice and more like small buildings spread out and so the hotel shuttle has to take you around since the grounds are so large and rooms spread out with great scenery.
Day 5, 9/10, Village- The Hathor Temple- Temple of Abydos, Dendera Temple Complex
This is my birthday and I woke up and went out to a secluded spot where I didn’t see anyone else and danced around and worshipped and had an awesome time. I did my morning spiritual study with my Bible and this is when I got the revelation about being so grateful that I don’t have to earn or learn my salvation for eternal life. It was overwhelming inside of me the gratitude I have for Jesus. So grateful that he came for simple sinners like me. Luke 5:31-32 31 Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." Luke 5:31-32 (NIV) Just to be clear, we are all sinners. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. To those of you who think your perfect and don’t need a Savior do really have complete control over all your thoughts? Please go read John chapter 5.
The Hathor Temple was dedicated to the fertility goddess Hathor. She is called the mistress of music, dance, wine, joy and sexuality. She combines cosmic and earthly. On the temple ceiling it has the symbols of the heavens and the zodiac. In Babylonian astrology it has 12 (but different then what you might be thinking), then 24 on the 2nd level and then many on the 3rd level. I personally have no problem with astrology as many do. God created the heavens and the stars and he is a God of order and this is something that can be learned. However, we do not worship the creation but can learn from science and spiritual laws. However, God also created each of us individually so where we can learn from dna and stars and science, we have to keep in mind we are each special and unique. Psalm 139:13-16 (NASB) 13 For You created my innermost parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.14 I will give thanks to You, because I am awesomely and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.15 My frame was not hidden from You. When I was made in secret, And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth; 16 Your eyes have seen my formless substance; And in Your book were written. All the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. One of the most interesting findings was down in the old crypts with the drawing on the wall that looked like an illumination device and called Dendera Light Bulb. This leads us to believe that the Ancients had created technology for artificial lighting and the knowledge has just been lost. This would also explain why there are no signs of fire or torch marks deep inside the temple chambers across the land. However, at one of the places later we went to shop there was a rock that you set outside to soak up the sun and then you bring it inside and it glows in the dark. I bought a few of these for my grandkids. I wonder if they could have used these in the dark tunnels, but this is just my own thought and not mentioned by anyone on tour.
Day 6, 9/11, Nile Cruise Boat- Temple of Abydos, private visit to Luxor Temple and private time in Osirian Temple and buffet dinner
We now check out. We went to the Temple of Abydos which is most famous for the hieroglyphics that includes one of a helicopter and other advanced technology. There is not room where it could have been changed so how did they see this from the future or was it part of the lost knowledge? Now we head towards our new room for the next several nights aboard the Princess cruise ship. We had a buffet for breakfast, lunch and most dinners each night and the food was always good. You did have to eat during the specified hours as these are small river cruise ships. We had the afternoon free so I went and had a Cleopatra massage. We dressed up that night to go to a specially prepared buffet dinner right at the Osirion Temple after our viewing of the temple. It was only our group only as we had paid for private time and was nice eating out in the night air overlooking all the Egyptian view. This was a nice easy going day and getting refreshed for the rest of the trip.
Day 7, 9/12, Nile Cruise Boat– Valley of the Kings, Qena, Pottery place, Ramesseum, lecture in evening
While most of the tombs have been looted over the years they are still very impressive. There are many tombs as this is a huge place but we did get to go into 3 of them including Rameses IV (Rameses 2 was not open when we went), Merenptah and Tausert/Setnakht. They were large and colorful and seemed like a lot of the faces were scratched off. The stories told by the hieroglyphics were so interesting, but we rushed thru, and I would have liked to take a lot more time to try to figure out what they were saying. You could see what looked like they were taking prisoners and tying their hands behind their backs just a lot to take in. If I ever go back to I Egypt would want to dedicate one or two days to being able to really try to figure out more as really enjoyed trying to figure out what all the stories were being told by the drawings. Wow what a tomb as they would be really large and then have such beautiful large sepulchers. We then went to see how the pottery was made and inside the store was where I bought the glow in the dark figures that get their source from the sun. We then went to see what use to be a giant statue of Ramsseum. It was a 57 foot statue but only pieces are left of it now. Later after dark we had a meditation on the ship’s deck and star gazed. It was very peaceful just laying out and watching the stars and praying.
Day 8- 9/13, Boats to Temple of Kom-Ombo, Crocodile museum, evening lecture
We took boats over to the temple of Kom-Ombo which is twin temples with one side having lotus flowers and honoring Sobek, the crocodile god of Upper Egypt and the other side having carved papyrus honoring Haroeris known as Horus, the wise and great of Lower Egypt. What is really amazing to me as we go thru all these elaborate temples is the dedication these people in the past had of their gods. Possibly they were aliens from other planets that had these part man and part animal bodies or angels (the bad ones that are now chained up) in disguise to be able to have powers that made the people worship them? Or half human and half angels? Before you laugh at me please note that in the Bible it does say that. Genesis 6:4 (NASB) The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of mankind, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Maybe this is why the flood had to happen to get rid of the mixed human bloodline? To those of you who have never read the Bible because you only look at it as a religious book, I challenge you to read it and just think of it short stories that all come together to form one whole story. You will find war, romance, action, wisdom and more. Get a translation that you understand easily and get to reading!! One of my favorite translations although not completed yet is The Passion translation by Brian and Candice Simmons. Next door to the temple was the crocodile museum, but no live crocodiles. My son asked me when I told him I was taking a cruise on the Nile River if I had seen any crocodiles. These are the only ones I got to see!! That evening we had a lecture and then time to get to sleep, after doing my work, and ready for the next day. I’m very blessed that as long as I have my phone, laptop, and internet then I can work from anywhere.
Day 9, 9/14, Nile Cruise Boat- – Elephantine Island (took rocks) , private mediation from 10-midnight in Temple of Isis
We took the boats to Elephantine Island. As with most parts of this world there have been various rulers who torn down and built on this Island. But Elephantine was the dwelling place of Khnum, who besides other things was known as the guardian of the water of the Nile from his cave beneath the island. The island also has a Nilometer, a device used to measure the Nile's water levels. At one point, and my memory is not positive of the location but think this was it, I was somewhat dumbfounded. As walking around different temples and pyramids sometimes I could feel my insides start to shake like what happens when I can feel the Holy Spirit really strong. And Alan, one of the guides, asked me if I felt anything and I told him no but I had not walked around much as just getting there. He told me Desiree Hurtack felt energy really strong in a corner and pointed me to it and said that was because that is where they believe the Holy of Holies was stored at some time. When I walked over there sure enough my stomach started shaking. When I walked around the outside at one point my stomach started shaking again and I compared and it was about the same distance as to where it happened inside as same wall. So maybe there was something buried deep below that was putting off that energy and we both could feel it. What I baffled with most is I don’t think we entirely believe the same way about the Holy Spirit indwelling us after we accept Jesus as our Savior. I am very simple and the Gospel is a simple and easy message so that everyone can accept and be part of. Their books are amazing when I understand what is being told but the majority of it is over my head and I think takes an engineer to really get it on the scientific level. The spiritual side of it I do understand more of but still not sure of their complete teaching on Jesus. Again just makes me so glad that Jesus came for sinners like me so that I might accept salvation and being filled with the Spirit without all the learning or having to earn it. Their headline is “A greater unity must occur between both the scientific and spiritual pathways which would link the human evolution with the Higher Evolution.” I do have a lot of respect for them even though I can not completely understand all of their teachings and again why I chose to go to Egypt at this time. There was also a small museum we went to. The Temple of Isis is known as the devoted mother, wife and protectress of the heart, mother of the gods and mother of the pharaohs, and the magical healer and one who resurrected the dead back to life. Some say her teachings still remain with a secret group of followers. Jesus teaches that we can heal and resurrect the dead in His Name thru the Holy Spirit if we have the faith to do so.
Day 10, 9/15, - Fly back to Cairo and Great Pyramid final ceremony
We get up early and head to the airport to fly back to Cairo. After arriving we go the check into the Hilton Heliopolis hotel. This was a long process and took hours waiting to get organized to be able to get into our rooms. We also had to wait for luggage as they took it by bus rather then on the plane with us. But all was worth the wait as was able to go get ready for the final dinner and back to the Great Pyramid for the final ceremony of which we were to all wear white. We went in two groups and I was glad I was in the first group since I had to leave at midnight for airport to start my flight back home. Dinner was good and I ate vegetarian the whole time in Egypt except for a few times when I ate fish on the cruise buffet. I am pescatarian which means I eat seafood but not land animals. Once or twice a year my body will crave beef and I will it eat some good bar-b-q brisket or a beef kabob when it does but only then and very rare. So after dinner we head back to the pyramid and again we are not allowed to take phones in as we have it rented privately for only our group after hours. Security took up the phones of anyone who had one to hold until afterwards. I had left mine on the bus as we had been told to do. This time we were allowed to go to the subterranean chamber first if we wanted to before going up to the queen or kings chamber. Joan who also is one of the guides from Portal to Ascension was going to have a meeting in the queens chamber for women only who preferred that or you could go on up the kings chamber were the Hartack’s were leading the meeting for all. To get to the subterranean chamber you had to climb down the ladder steps bent over and then literally crawl part of the way on your knees to get to it. I was glad I had and had some quite time just to reflect and pray and feel the Holy Spirit. It was only a small group that decided to go. After coming back up and everyone was headed to the other chambers I hear that I was not to go to either but that God had something special for me on the outside of the Pyramid. I was glad to hear this as it is also physically challenging to climb up to the Kings chamber. So I asked if I could just go outside and wait and the security guards were in front as well and told me just stay in front of the Pyramid as our permit does not allow us to go in private to the sides or back of it. As I started walking back down the steps to get to the bottom I would stop and sit and just sing quietly or talk to my best friend the Holy Spirit and then try to be quiet and listen. Eventually I got the surprise. Sitting their looking onto the city I could hear a sound starting to come together, it wasn’t just the mosque doing the prayers that they play at times throughout the day, or the traffic of the city, but all of it blending together and getting louder and louder into an angelic sound that shook my whole body. It was so beautiful and touching. I basked in the symphonic sound until it faded away. I have never experienced this before. I could then again just hear the normal sounds of the city. I now really want to study more about the sounds and their meanings and which each can do after this experience and learning a few days back about the building at the temple of the harmonic sounds each for a different healing. I wish I had my phone and had been able to record this beautiful noise my ears were blessed to hear. With all the talk about not finding the tools they could have used to build these pyramids and the agony in which to try to duplicate today even, it is my belief that they used levitation in their minds to move all the heavy pieces that today we still can’t figure out how they did it. Jesus tells us we can move mountains if we have the faith. Matthew 17:20 (NASB) 20 And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith [a]the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ”Anyways everyone was coming out now so back on the bus and back to the hotel to get ready to leave. I was able to get my phone off the bus and ran to snap a few pictures real quick and run back to the bus as almost last one out now. I don't remember seeing the pyramids being red but the pictures show the tops red somehow. Oh well, just reminds me of the blood of Jesus that takes away my sin !!
In Conclusion:
My trip to Egypt has really gave me an appreciation for sounds that I did not have before and an even deeper appreciation for Jesus. Please know that none of us are God and knows everything about His workings or the entire universe. I like to say that I am Vicki Nelsen from Houston, Texas, USA, North America Continent, planet Earth, Milky Way Galaxy. So, if you disagree with me on what I write that is ok. I share my experiences and what is in my heart to say. I try not to not be tied to any particular teaching or culture but what I learn and have the Spirit discern to me. My hope is that everyone will explore their own spirituality and not just live day to day in a materialistic frame of mind. For me it is not from any book I have read or anyone else’s testimony that I believe in my eternal future. Yes, I started out by faith but now have seen so many miracles and developed my own personal relationship with God that it is no longer by faith but my own personal knowledge that Jesus is my savior in this world and the one to come when I leave this temporary human flesh. So go start your own exploration so you’re not going by my words or anyone else’s teachings but by your own experience that no one can ever take away from you. Life on earth is short compared to eternity !!
